LONDON, March 31 (Reuters) - Utility services group Telecom Plus Plc (TEP.L) said on Tuesday it expected record pre-tax profits for the year, after attracting record customer applications and high profile endorsements.
The group, which trades as the Utility Warehouse to supply gas, electricity, fixed line telephony, mobile and broadband, said it had added more than 66,000 net new services.
Its shares were up 0.7 percent at 297 pence at 0710 GMT.
The group said it remained on target to report record pre-tax profits for the year ended March 31, despite absorbing growth related costs.
It said it had seen a substantial seasonal cash outflow during the quarter, due to the impact of customers paying by budget plans through a very cold winter. But it still expects year-end net cash to be over 20 million pounds ($28.60 million).
The company said the record number of new customer applications had been boosted by increased numbers of distributors who sign up customers, and endorsements from the influential Which? magazine.
