Charles Wigoder, chief executive of Telecom Plus, which offers one utility bill to householders and businesses, has bought 20,000 shares at 299¾p each, bringing his stake to 24.16 per cent. The shares, one of the top performers of the FTSE all-share last year as the company benefited from consumers seeking cheaper bills, gained 10¾p to 314½p.
